Kaspersky Lab has been recognised for its class-leading enterprise software solutions at the European SC Magazine Awards, having fought off competition from leading technology vendors to win the Best Enterprise Security Solution category.
Kaspersky Lab scooped the coveted award at the ceremony in London last night following a rigorous judging process, where a panel of industry judges from the highest levels of the information security profession scrutinised the shortlisted products and services. Commenting on their choice of winner, the SC Magazine Awards judging panel stated: “Kaspersky Lab is flexible and competent, helping organisations plan and operate their business safely and securely, removing the fear of cyber-threats by providing excellent expertise and support 24/7.”
In 2014, Kaspersky Lab revealed that corporate cyber targets had more than doubled on 2013. As a result for enterprises, staying one step ahead of the cybercriminals is a never-ending race. Kaspersky Lab is committed to supporting these businesses to stay one step ahead.
Kaspersky Lab’s second-by-second threat monitoring and analysis, combined with ongoing software development, means products are always under review. Recent innovations include Kaspersky Security for Virtualisation Light Agent, and Kaspersky Fraud Prevention which delivers rigorous, multi-layered security to online and mobile banking systems.
Industrial and public infrastructure is increasingly the target of cyber espionage and cyber-terrorism. These environments require highly reliable protection that is purpose built to address their unique security requirements. Kaspersky Lab is continually developing critical infrastructure protection systems that do more to meet the specific requirements of industrial control systems and the organisations that are tasked with keeping critical infrastructure running.
Intelligence Services such as Botnet tracking, cybersecurity education programmes and specialist DDoS protection, among others, help enterprises to protect themselves even further against the rapid increase in DDoS and advanced persistent threat (APT) attacks aimed at corporate targets.
Kirill Slavin, Managing Director, Kaspersky Lab, says of the win: “This prestigious award highlights that Kaspersky Lab is not only one of the world’s fastest growing cyber-security companies but that delivering effective, usable and accessible protection is at its heart. This recognition is a testament to our efforts to keep our 400 million users in business and homes one step ahead of potential threats – and ensure we’re in front of the competition.”
The SC Awards are widely recognised across Europe and honour professionals working to secure enterprises of all sizes and the vendors that deliver innovative security technologies.
